Basic Wildlife Rehabilitation Course - Urban Wildlife
Dates: 6th , 7th, 8th Oct. 2017
Timings: 10 am to 4 pm
Location: C-2/3 Salunke Vihar, Kondhwa, Pune - 411022
Course Schedule:
9.30 am - Tea and Discussion
10 am - Course Modules
1 pm - Lunch
1.40 am - Course Modules
4 pm - Tea and Discussion
5 pm - Closing
Modules:
Day 1 - In-situ Intervention, Reuniting, Re-nesting, Basic First Aid
Day 2 - Handling Techniques, Basics of Nutrition and Hand-Rearing Neonates
Day 3 - Rehab and Release, Euthanasia, Permanent Captives
Course Fees: Rs. 8,000/- per participant (includes lunch and tea).
Rs. 1,200/- extra for a printed copy of the rehab manual - request for your copy at the time of registration.
Eligibility: Min. 18 years of age. A genuine interest in working with wildlife, a responsible attitude, ethical handling, willingness to go the distance and release your animals in a responsible and ethical manner.
Requirements for Registration: Payment of full course fee + Application Form + 1 passport-sized photograph.
Outstation participants may please contact us for assistance with housing during the course if required.
Last Date for Registration: 25th of Sep. 2017.
There will be no refund against cancellations but you will be allotted a seat in the next course (2018 or 2019). Enrollments are not transferable.
